This house landscape is a calming scene of a home snuggled in a wooded valley between two mountains. It's artistic style is reminiscent of late 1800s impressionists.

Abram August Champanier (1896-1960) was an artist, mural painter, and WPA artist. He studied in the Art Students League of New York under Frank Vincent DuMond, Kenneth Hayes Miller, F. Louis Mora, George B. Bridgeman, Ernest Blumenschein, and Guy Rose. Based in New York City and Woodstock, NY.  Some of his earlier works were signed A. Shampanier
